ntswemebwô — what does this name mean?
In Medumba, a language spoken in western Cameroon in the NDE department —Nobility, Dignity, Elegance — ntswemebwô means "Stay healthy". It is at once a wish, a commitment and a philosophy of life.
Our story
ntswemebwô was born out of a simple belief: looking after yourself should never be a luxury. As the founding couple, with roots in both Africa and Europe, we grew up with this African wisdom regarding the best lifestyle to adopt: eating well, moving with intention, honouring one’s body. But whilst living in Europe, we realised just how much this holistic vision of wellbeing was missing from the shelves of sports and health brands: ntswemebwô is our response to this gap.
